I hope this brings you closer to finding your right clinician. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of any therapy, and it can take a few (sometimes many) tries before you really connect with someone. I am honoured to work with all individuals and will attend to your intersecting identities with openness and humility.

My approach balances compassion with accountability. I encourage you to face the difficult things you may wish to avoid. Whatever you share with me, I will meet you in it with a steady presence so we can work through it together. In this process, we are equal collaborators: you are the expert on yourself, and I bring psychological training, experience, and evidence-based approaches to support your goals.

I received my Clinical Psychology PhD in 2022 from Toronto Metropolitan University and did my residency with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, in the Mood Disorders Program and Medically Unexplained Symptoms Clinic. I have experience in both community mental health and private practice.

Outside of work, I cycle through “seasons” with my hobbies, but some constants are being an avid reader and film enthusiast, and trying to guess plot twists before they happen.

Everyone has capacity to heal and grow.

Connection

We heal through relationships; our therapeutic alliance is a core driver of change. Our work helps you connect more fully and authentically with yourself and the people around you.

Curiosity

Curiosity is my best tool and I hope to share it with you. It lets us swap judgement for exploration. By holding assumptions gently, you can be more present, flexible, empowered, and resilient in daily life.

Acceptance

In a full human life, pain is inevitable. Non-acceptance of these experiences (discomfort, emotions, parts of ourselves we don’t like) gets us stuck. Healing comes when we build our capacity to hold pain.

Evidence-Based

I ensure my services are safe and ethical by providing evidence-based treatments shown to be effective. My work is informed by current research and best practices while remaining responsive to your needs and goals.

A Brighter Path Starts Here.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and move forward with support that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in your goals.
