I know seeking support can be difficult and it has to start somewhere. If you’re unsure how therapy can help or worry your pain is too big, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Stressful situations can eat away at our ability to cope and function. When people get stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating to the world, it can interfere with living a meaningful life. Together, we will understand what keeps you stuck and build new ways of coping so you can move towards your goals.

Individual Therapy
I take an integrative approach and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan for your needs. Through evidence-based interventions, like Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), we will work through barriers that keep you stuck and build a life worth living.
Psychological Assessment
Beginning with an intake assessment lets us plan out treatment. When further clarity is needed and you require diagnostic clarification, I will conduct a psychodiagnostic assessment. This involves history taking, completing questionnaires, and a semi-structured symptom interview. At the end, I can provide a letter or report if required.
Consultation
I provide supervision and consultation to psychologists and allied health professionals seeking training. I have unique experience with insomnia and psychodynamic therapy.

We often avoid short-term discomfort without realizing how it may interfere with our long-term goals and values. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may no longer be serving you and develop healthier ways of coping and relating.

Treatment plans will be individually tailored to you. I aim to help you achieve the most meaningful changes in as short a time as possible.

When you reach out, I will answer any questions you have and walk you through the process of getting started.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consult to see if we’re a good fit.

The initial intake meeting is 2 hours.
We will get to know each other, go over your personal history and current concerns, and come up with a tentative treatment plan tailored to you.
I offer both brief short-term treatments and long-term intensive treatment plans, and will check in with you regularly to make sure we’re addressing your needs. -
My typical approach is to take the first 1-4 sessions to continue building our shared understanding of your difficulties and what drives them, starting to work through things as they come up.
For clients seeking short-term treatment (e.g., specific acute problem, limited coverage), these initial sessions are more actively focused on skill building.

Once we have a shared understanding of your problems and agree on a plan, we begin the “working through” phase of treatment.
We get at the things maintaining your difficulties. We will check in around every 10 sessions to evaluate treatment progress and revisit remaining goals.
